Obituary of Geraldine E. Burke

Geraldine E. Burke May 15, 2013 Geraldine E. Burke, 83, of Camillus passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She previously worked for NY Telephone Co. She traveled the world with her husband Jack and loved her regular lunches with the “Telephone Girls”. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her children, grand children and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marian Goodman, Lucille Quinell; brother, James Williams. Survivors: her husband, John “Jack” Burke; daughters, Mary (Thomas) Otis, Patricia Burke, Barbara (Patrick) Bright; sons, John (Jeri) Burke, Thomas (Susan) Burke; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Camillus where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St.
