Obituary of Robert A. Yager

Robert A. Yager, 74, of Lakeland, NY passed away Wednesday at home. Born May 18, 1938, in Syracuse, he was the son of William and Catherine Yager. Robert was a graduate of Solvay High School and lifelong resident of Lakeland. He served in the US Army Reserve as a Private I. Bob was a member of the Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department and owner of Yagers' Lakeland Garage. Survivors: his son, Randall (Deborah) Yager & his grandson, Tyler Yager of Lakeland, NY, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents, his son, Roger Yager and his brother, William Yager. Bob was a community-minded person who was always ready to help those in need and those who knew him loved and respected him dearly.  He will be missed by all who knew him. Services: 4:00 PM Sunday at Tindall Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at funeral home 1921 W Genesee St. prior to the service.
