Helen R. Goss February 24, 2013 Helen R. Goss, 88, of Westvale passed away Sunday, peacefully at home. She was a graduate of Fayetteville Academy. Helen began her work career at Dey Brothers in Syracuse. She would later retire from NY Telephone after 20 years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church and had served on various committees. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking, cooking, and helping others. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Ann Cizenski in 2012. Survivors: son, Joseph (Cindy) Goss of Westvale; daughters, Judith (Richard) Alberts of Lakeland and Patricia (Dale) Mussen of Cleveland; grandchildren, Dr. Andrew Goss, Stephen Hanley, Jacob and Joseph Cizenski, Michael, Steven, and Randy Mussen, Laura (Albert) Koch, Michelle Alberts, Lacey Goss, Samantha Hanley, numerous great grandchildren; brother, Eugene Regus of Rochester; several nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to PACE CNY, 100 Malta Lane, N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
