Obituary of Thomas Gerald Mason

Thomas G. Mason January 26, 2013 Thomas G. Mason, 68, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at University Hospital. He was a graduate of Solvay High School, served in the US Army and retired from Schilling Forge where he worked as a tool & dye maker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his sister Loretta Hayes in 2012. Survivors: his wife of 45 years, Sharon Lasky Mason, two daughters: Michelle (David) Minney and Christine Mason. A sister, Mary (Walter) McPherson and several nieces and nephews. Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will be in the spring in Belle Isle Cemetery. Calling hours will be 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211
