In 1976 I(we) first met Earl when I worked at Syracuse Savings Bank on S. Warren St. Nelson and I referred to him as "Earl the pearl". He was such a wonderful, fun man to be around. He knew everyone on S. Warren St., from any and all walks of life! And, the stories he told always kept us all laughing on a daily basis. He was truly a special person, and we were so honored to be invited to his Police retirement party. Even though we moved away from Syracuse, we never forgot Earl. We know he will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
