Obituary of Arlene Peck

Arlene L. (Bausinger) Peck, 100, of Westvale passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, at St. Camillus. Born October 6, 1922 to Joseph and Martha Bausinger, she was a graduate and salutatorian at North High School. Arlene served as the admissions director at Upstate Medical College before becoming the administrative assistant to the director at Hutchings Psychiatric.

Arlene enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was active in the Altar Rosary Society and a Girl Scout leader for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband of many years, Howard with whom she enjoyed summers on Skaneateles Lake and twenty five years of retirement in Punta Gorda, FL.

She is survived by three children, Patricia (Ray) Malewicz of Brookfield, CT, Thomas (Julie) Peck of Marcellus, and Barry Peck of Syracuse. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Andrew Malewicz, Erin DiGiovanni, Alex Madden, Liz Balduzzi, and Scott Peck; four great grandchildren, Emma and Adeline DiGiovanni, Sutton and Leighton Madden

The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale / Bellevue and St. Camillus for their loving care of Arlene.

Services: 11 am Saturday, December 10, at St Charles Church, 417 S. Orchard Rd where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There will no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arlene's name to a charity of your choice.
