Obituary of Regina Esposito Gabrielle

Our dear mother passed away quickly on Oct 18th, 2022. Regina Marie Esposito was born in December 1955 in Kingston, New York, she enjoyed many travels and lived in NM, FL, TX, VA, CO, CA, and MN before settling into Syracuse, NY for 20+ years. She had many friends and was a well respected and loved individual of the local Community College and Onondaga community. 

Gina spent her life following two of her passions, teaching and holistic healing. She has taught at Leech Lake Community College in MN and has been a professor of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY. Gina's spirit and perspective created an environment of excitement and growth for her students. 

Gina enjoyed medicine, and wanted to help people with a more natural approach through sharing her education and great interest in alternative medicine. She has spent half of her life in private practice as a holistic healer, committed to giving her patients alternative options for healing. She was a prescriber of homeopathic remedies as well as an acupuncturist. Regina had a passion for holistic healing, cultivating and cataloging herbs, and was a fine sketch artist and painter. 

Regina Esposito, also known as Gina Griser or Gina Gabrielle, is survived by her mother Joan Esposito, daughters Jessica Griser and Meaghan Griser, grandchildren Dakota Griser and Jasper Griser. She also leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law Linda and Dwight Fronsdhal, niece and nephew, Nicole and Scott Fronsdhal.
