Obituary of Mary M. Wallace

Mary "Peg" O'Brien Wallace, 79, of Van Buren passed away Thursday at St. Joe's Hospital with family by her side. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of St. Lucy's Academy. She met her husband John in 1957. Peg worked many years at Thunderbird Lanes in Baldwinsville and previously for Addis Co. She loved trips to the casinos with her friend Peg. She was a long time communicant of St. Augustine's Church.

Peg was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Betty O'Brien; brother, Jack O'Brien and two sons, Mark and Tim Wallace. 

Survivors: her husband of 57 years, John Wallace Sr.; sons, John Wallace II and James Wallace; grandchildren, Tyler, Adriana, and Gabriel; sister, Bernadette O'Brien; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 12 pm Tuesday March 29, at St. Augustine's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 pm Monday March 28, at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St.
