Obituary of Gerald M. Dunn

Gerald M. "Jerry" Dunn, 105, of Solvay passed away Monday, at James Square. Born in Syracuse, was an Independent Contractor for Netherland Dairy. Jerry had a wonderful wit and greeted who ever met him with a handshake and a smile. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was an avid golfer at Pine Grove, and was active in a league up until he was in his ninety's. He belonged to a Senior Citizen's Bowling League for many years as well. Jerry looked forward to his weekly get togethers at "Mikey's", on Milton Ave. with his buddies. He remained independent, and active up until this past spring. All who knew him were amazed by his longevity. He was the oldest resident of Solvay. He will truly be missed. Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Ursula Degan Dunn in 1990. Survivors: his son, Jack W. Dunn of Syracuse; several nephews and cousins. Services: Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
