The funeral service was very nice at St. Pats; it is still a very beautiful church. But i didn't get to see any of you after the service; i got to talk with Mark and Tina, Mike and Jay, and Kevin and Fran. So i want to express my heartfelt condolences to you all on the loss of your wonderful mother. At least your Dad will be delighted. May God grant you the strength to get through these difficult times and find peace. In sympathy and prayer

What can I say about my sister Mary Theresa … I guess I have known her longer than anyone else since she was there when I was born. Although I don’t remember all of those early days, I understand she (and my sister Betty) would give me rides in their doll carriage and for some reason named me Joe-Joe, the taxi boy.
Growing up, Mary was always there for me. From our time at St. Bridget school when we did the May Crowning together or taking me to basketball games at St. Pats.
For me, her best job was when she worked at the soda fountain in Cole’s Drug Store. It was great to be 9 years old and be able to get a root beer float or hot fudge sundae anytime I wanted even though I never had any money.
As I think back over the years, I consider myself to be so fortunate to have had the best sisters and the very best extended families anyone could ever hope for. Fran and I and all of our children have such wonderful memories of all the celebrations we shared with this amazing family.
God Bless you, Mary. For sure, your beautiful Irish eyes are smiling on us today.

I would stop and chat with Mary when I was walking my dog (a large black long-haired dog name Tino, short for Valentino. I believe I met one of the grandkids and maybe a daughter on our walks. Mary was so pleasant to speak with and always had a smile on her face. I’m sure she’ll be greatly missed. Fondly, Judy Contos

So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She, Jerry and their kids were wonderful neighbors on Walberta Road. I was a frequent babysitter over the years. Mary couldn't have been nicer or kinder to me. A great lady!
