Brian T. Stokes (1941-2022) After several years of brave struggle with health conditions Brian went to the Lord on Friday. He spent his career as an expert plumber with Local 267 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union for 35 years retiring in 2001 and caring for his mother. Born in Utica, NY and schooled in Syracuse, his interests included a very detailed study of World War II history and its artifacts. Brian also excelled as a raconteur. Pet cats, Blackie and Whitey were his daily companions along with neighborhood cats in need of reliable food source and shelter. Spending time with his sister, following the Jeopardy show on TV and visits with his nephew and niece were most important to him. Meeting with his breakfast friends were also a highlight he enjoyed at every opportunity.

Survivors: his sister, Judith (Stephen) Dembowski; nephew, Stephen E. Dembowski; niece, Michelle (Dennis) Pedrotti; two grand nieces, a grand nephew and most recently a great grand nephew.

Services: Private services were held for family and burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
