Obituary of John Adam Drury

John Drury, age 33, lost his long sometimes courageous battle with life on Monday November 5, 2012 at Upstate Hospital. A gentle soul, John's last year was his best thanks in part to the birth of his son Trey Drury. John came to Syracuse from Connecticut with his mom six years ago. He was a chef at Lemon Grass and Bellevue Country Club. He made many friends through his work. He loved to golf and was a natural athlete all of his life. Survivors: He leaves behind his parents, Pauline and Mark; his son Trey, his brother Curt and sister Jennifer; the woman he loved, Jamie Paniccia; the child he loved as a son, Gavin Paniccia; uncles, Michael and Steven Drury and Albert Saddler. Services: Calling hours will be 4 to 6 pm Monday November, 19 at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, John would want you to give someone a hug and tell them how much they mean to you.
