Elizabeth A. "Betty" Wrobbel, 93, of Lyncourt passed away Wednesday, at Sunnyside Care Center. Born in Syracuse, the daughter of James and Fae Miller, she was a graduate of Central High School. Betty was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church where she had been a eucharistic minister, CCD teacher, member of the Mary and Martha Society, and a perpetual adoration guardian. She was very active within the community having been a past member and president of Lyncourt School PTA, treasurer of Lyncourt Youth Recreation and a scout leader. Betty was also an usher at the Civic Center and a member of Catholic Women of America. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Wrobbel in 1991, daughter, Marianne Wrobbel in 1973, and brother, James Miller. Survivors: her children, Barbara (Richard) Peck, Edward (Cindy) Wrobbel, Susan (Richard Rodefeld) Shannon, Kathleen (John) Toucher, Diane Wrobbel, Patricia (Robert Bloodgood) Wrobbel; two sisters, Mildred O'Connell and Jean Boyle; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Betty's family wishes to thank the staff of Sunnyside for the loving care she received. Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at Tindall Funeral Home and 12:10 p.m. Monday at St. Daniel's Church, where a Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sunnyside Care Center Activity Department 7000 Collamer Rd. E.
