Obituary of Gregory Papaleoni

Gregory Papaleoni passed away after a short illness May 22, 2021. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Raymond Papaleoni and Nancy Brown Papaleoni. Greg grew up in Syracuse and graduated in 1994 from Westhill High School where he was senior class president. He went on to graduate in 1998 from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, with a B.S. in International Business and Foreign Languages and the University of Michigan Studies Abroad Language Immersion Program. 

Greg settled in Boston where he met his wife, Kate Driscoll. They raised two beautiful children, Max (16) and Francesca (13). Greg had a long career managing business data analytics for Yahoo and Mass Mutual. 

He loved golf, music, model trains, travel, playing his piano, making people laugh and spending time with his children.

Greg is survived by his beloved children, Max and Francesca Papaleoni; his mother, Nancy Brown Papaleoni; his uncle, Robert Papaleoni of Syracuse; his aunt, Kathy Brown Heller of Hampton, VA and many dearly loved cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date by Kate’s Table in Hingham, MA.
