Obituary of Mary A. La Manche

Mary A. La Manche, 87, of Camillus, NY went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2021. Mary was originally from St. Anthony of Padua parish where she sang in the junior and senior choirs. In 1969, she moved to Taunton and then to Camillus in 1993. Mary had been a communicant of St. Charles and then Holy Family where she was Eucharistic Minister and sang in the funeral choir. She was involved in the charismatic renewal at Christ the King in Liverpool with Fr. Carlo Stirpe and at St. Charles with Fr. Jim Mathews. Mary loved travelling both here and abroad. She went on many pilgrimages with Fr. Amadeo Guida. Mary travelled with friends to Weston Priory in Vermont once or twice a year for over 40 years.

She was predeceased by her father, Leo La Manche in 1948, mother, Mabel (Manley) La Manche in 1977, and her sister, Pat in 2005.

Survivors: Many cousins and some very special friends who made it possible for Mary to stay in her home all these years.

Services: 10am Wednesday April 14, at Holy Family Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Livestream of the Mass can be viewed at holyfamilysyr.org. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.

Current NYS COVID guidelines requiring masks, social distancing and occupancy limits will be observed.
