Louis A. Jones, 78, of Solvay, NY passed away on February 9, 2021 at St. Josephs Hospital with his wife by his side. Born in Guy’s Hill Jamaica, Louis moved to New York in 1970 where he worked and retired as an insurance agent. He enjoyed photography, working in the garden, and tending to his fish. As an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were Syracuse University, NY Yankees, Giants and Jets. Louis was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was proud of his family and all their accomplishments.

Louis was predeceased by his parents, Sidney and Ediris Jones; bothers, Barrington and Carlton; sisters, Kathleen and Sybil.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Boutin) Jones; children and grandchildren, Gwilym Jones (Kristin), Gabriela, Sophia, Zachary, Deborah Taylor, Michael, Lahan, Ian, Nicholas Pestillo (Stephanie), Gregory Pestillo, Andrea Wessing (Carl), Cody; brother, Harry; sisters, Gloria, Dorcas, Hazel, Marjorie, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Services: 10 am Tuesday, February 16, at St. Patrick's and St. Brigid's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Livestream of the Mass can be viewed at facebook.com/TINDALLFH. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10 am prior to the Mass at the church, 216 North Lowell Ave. Syracuse, NY.

Current NYS COVID guidelines requiring masks, social distancing and occupancy limits will be observed.
