Obituary of Ellen R. Klaisle

Ellen R. Klaisle October 15, 2012 On Monday, October 15, 2012, Ellen Rita Klaisle, 92 of Syracuse, was called into the arms of her Lord and Savior. She is now reunited with her husband Bill, her daughter Judy and her son Bill, Jr. Ellen, a lifelong resident of Syracuse, lived a life of love, loyalty and dedication to her family and friends. She was blessed to be the mother of four, but the crown of her life was her five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Ellen's happiest moments were spent enjoying her family and friends through picnics, gatherings and playing cards. Before her retirement, she was a sales associate for The Addis Company where she expressed her love for fashion. Survivors: Ellen was clearly loved by her children and family: Gerry Klaisle and wife Tina, Edward (Ned) Klaisle and wife Linda, Richard Nunan (husband of Judy), Bonnie (wife of William, Jr.) Her surviving grandchildren include Terry Lajoie and spouse David, Tammi Bansbach and spouse John, Traci Loiacono and husband John, Marc Klaisle and Kara Klaisle. Great grandchildren: Ryan, Kyle, Jack, Julia, Taylor, Lauren, Braden and Gavin. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated where she and Bill were dedicated parishioners. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. A calling hour will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home Inc., 1921 W Genesee St. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ellen Klaisle may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 5818 East Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211.
