Obituary of Theresa M. Cavallaro

Theresa (Martone) Cavallaro, 91, passed away on November 7th, 2020. Theresa was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School and CCBI, and worked for many years at Smith Corona, and Failmezger and Liegel Law Office. Theresa enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, her iPad, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Theresa is predeceased by her spouse, Anthony Cavallaro, Sr. and her son, Dr. James Cavallaro; her parents, Ralph and Maria Martone; her siblings Joseph Martone, Nicholas Martone, Frances Sackeli, Rosemary Kane, and Lillian Martone.

Theresa is survived by her children, Regina (James) Kelley, Linda Pizzuto, Donna (Nicholas) Bishop, and Anthony (Sandra) Cavallaro, daughter in law, Laurie Cavallaro; siblings, The Twins, Eleanor DeCarlo, and Virginia Convertino. Theresa is also survived by her grandchildren, Katie (Peter) Park, Nicole Pizzuto, Stephanie (John) Lacey, Lisa Bishop, Jenna Bishop, Nicholas Bishop lll, Jason Cavallaro, and Sarah Cavallaro. Theresa is also survived by her beloved great-grandchildren, Jason, John, Cooper, and James, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services: A calling hour will be from 9:30am to 10:30am Wednesday, November 11, at St. Charles Church, 501 South Orchard Rd. Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30am also at the Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
