Obituary of Linda L. Kunzelmann

Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Linda L. Kunzelmann, 74, passed away at home on August 25, surrounded by her family. She was born in Kingston, NY, daughter of the late Dorothy (LaBarge) and Ralph Miller. Linda graduated from Solvay high school and was employed by Key Bank and later Geddes Federal before retiring in 2007.

Linda will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Linda’s greatest pleasure was her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren.

She will always be remembered for her selflessness and generosity. She was “all in” whether supporting her family, helping a neighbor or friend, or fighting an illness. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing slots, talking with friends, volunteering at Upstate Community Campus and wintering in N. Myrtle Beach.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Peter A. Kunzelmann, Jr.; her two daughters, Tracy (Dave) Ingalls and Pam (Shane) Brightwell; two beloved grandchildren, Paige and Kaden Reid; her brother Larry (Anna) Miller; and cherished extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Gary and Jerry “Dino.”

Her family would like to thank Dr. Joseph T. Barry and his staff for the exceptional care they provided.

Services: Linda’s family will celebrate her life 12:30 pm Thursday, August 27 at Holy Family Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. A private interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Warners.

Current NYS COVID guidelines requiring masks, social distancing and occupancy limits will be observed.

She leaves behind many loving memories that her family will cherish forever. Donations may be made in Linda’s name to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital (upstate.edu/gch) or St. Jude Children’s Hospital (st-jude.org).
