Obituary of Bruce H. Herringshaw

Saturday, Bruce H. Herringshaw left us to join his son Kurt and daughter Dena in Heaven. He left behind his wife of 70 years, Delores; daughter-in-law Chris and husband Dave Fidura; grandchildren, Mike McDaniels, Matt McDaniels, Aaron and wife Holly Herringshaw, Alyssa and husband Andy Kelsey as well as great grandchildren Katalyn, Alora, Ava, Crue with another on the way. He was also able to see is great-great grandson, Blade Jr.

He left behind so many life long friends, as he touched so many lives throughout his 89 years that it’s impossible to list them all.

He will best be remembered by all of us as the family “Comedian”, often telling the worst jokes just to see our reaction. Once and awhile he would surprise us with a funny one just to throw us off. 

Besides loving his family, he was extremely proud of his SkyDiving with the LAGNAF bunch that he also shared with Kurt. He was from Richfield Springs, NY where he attended High School and was happy to have made the Varsity FootBall Team.

Services: Calling hours will be 2pm to 5pm Friday, July 24, at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St. Syracuse.

Current NYS COVID guidelines requiring masks, social distancing and occupancy limits will be observed.
