Eleanor C. Ammon, 84, formerly of Tipp Hill passed away Saturday in Catonsville, MD. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's. Before moving to Maryland, Eleanor had previously worked for Columbia Mills and the A&P Bakery. She was predeceased by her parents, John D. and Mary Chatterton and sister, Arlene Adams.
Survivors: her husband of 62 years Wallace C. Ammon; son, Keith Ammon; sister, Jane Vinette; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 9 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home 1921 W Genesee St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204
