Obituary of Lydia Paussa

Lydia Paussa, 97, of Westvale passed away Thursday at St. Camillus. Born in Solvay, she was a graduate of Solvay High School and CCBI. She retired from General Motors as an executive secretary after 40 years. Lydia was active in bowling leagues, was an avid golfer, and a member of Tuscarora Golf Club for over 50 years. She was a communicant of St. Marianne Cope Parish at St. Cecilia's Church.

Lydia was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Maria Paussa and her brother, Joseph Paussa Jr.

Survivors: nephew, Joseph M. (Hedy) Paussa of North Carolina; great nephew, Gregory F. (Kelly) Paussa of North Carolina, great niece, Karen (Chris) Arnault of Florida, great nephew, Richard M. (Christine) Paussa of Syracuse; 5 great great and 3 great great great nieces and nephews.

Services: A calling hour will be 9:30 am to 10:30 am Monday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 11 am Monday at St Cecilia's Church, Solvay. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, 5005 Campuswood Drive East Syracuse, NY 13057.
