Obituary of Edward W. Noeller

Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Edward “Ed” Noeller, 88, of Syracuse passed away on Friday, October 18th, at St. Camillus Health Center. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Split Rock School. He worked for the Carrier Corporation as a draftsman for 40 years. Ed enjoyed yardwork, jigsaw puzzles, watching the Yankees lose and betting on the horses for which he was quite good at. The last several years found him at thrift and dollar stores finding movies and books to feed his passion for reading and watching old films. One of his favorite stores was “Ollies”- where he found “good stuff cheap”.

He was predeceased by his parents Edward L. and Emma Noeller, and his oldest son Daniel Noeller.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara (Boyden) Noeller; brothers, Bernard (Marilyn) Noeller of Delaware and Richard Noeller of Auburn; sons, Robert (Diane) Noeller of Jamesville, Wesley (Diane) Noeller of Austin Tx, Kenneth (Heidi) Noeller of Skaneateles; daughters, Vicki (Mark) Sheehan of Lynchburg Va, and Karen (Michael) DeLucia of Liverpool. Surviving also are 13 grandchildren: Nikki (Daniel) Keefe, Candice Carlberg, Mathew Noeller, Melissa Noeller, Alexander Noeller, Jason Noeller, Cassidy Sheehan, Liam Sheehan, Erica Sheehan, Jacob Sheehan, Angelina DeLucia, Nico DeLucia and Nate DeLucia as well as 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
