Obituary of Martha Torre-Tasso

Martha Torre-Tasso August 27, 2012 Martha Torre-Tasso, age 68, died August 27, 2012 after a long illness. After graduation from Syracuse University, she was employed by the West Genesee School District as a kindergarten teacher and in recent years as a teacher's assistant with special needs students. She was a strong advocate for the disabled and was a Special Olympics coach. She loved antiquing and the state of Maine, where she visited yearly. She will be missed by friends, family, co-workers, and others whose lives she touched who are known only to God. She often performed random acts of kindness. Survivors: mother, Helen Singer of Camillus; daughters, Helen Marie Torre-Tasso of Camillus and Louise (Jamie) Hoare of Honeoye Falls, NY; son, Alexander (Kim) Torre-Tasso of Newtown, CT; sister, Nancy Singer of Camillus; brother, Robert (Eileen) Singer of Camillus; She is also survived by 3 granddaughters, Abigail, Liddie, and Maggie Hoare; 2 grandsons, Nathan and Teddy Torre-Tasso; nephews, Robert and Michael Singer.
