Obituary of Sally A. Allen

Sally A. (Hall) Allen, 73, of Summerville, SC passed away Wednesday in her hometown of Syracuse, NY with family by her side. She spent time in California and Virginia, and at retirement traveled to 48 states with her husband John in their motorhome. 

Her work career after graduating Central Tech 1963, included the Herald Journal, Reston Hospital, and Music Educators (MENA). She loved her family dearly, and especially enjoyed the littlest ones.

She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Jean Hall and her sister, Darlene Mahoney.

She leaves behind her husband of 31 yrs, John; daughter, Michelle (Don) Richer; son, Michael Gonyeau; grandson, James Gonyeau; stepdaughters, Cheryl (Rick) Andersen, Twyla Fondersmith, and stepsons, David Allen, and Mark (Kim) Allen. Nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Several cousins, nieces and nephews, and brother in law, J. Edward Mahoney. And also her best friend Missy (pooch).

Services: 11am Monday June 3rd (calling hour, 10 to 11am) at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St, Syracuse, NY. Burial immediately following at White Chapel Gardens, Dewitt, NY.
