Obituary of Irene B. Erwin
Irene B. Erwin, 81, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday at St. Camillus surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse. Irene retired after 32 years as a supervisor with NY Telephone. She was an avid SU, Notre Dame, and Yankee fan. Irene was a longtime communicant of St. Brigid-St. Joseph Church.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Stephen Erwin, Richard Erwin; and her cherished nephew, Thomas Erwin.
Survivors: her sister, Anna Mae (Joseph) Hubert; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends.
Services: 9:30 am Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Charles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Friday at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to a charity of choice.
