Obituary of Mary Louise Reynolds
Mary Louise (Moosbrugger) Reynolds, 99, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Tuesday after a short illness. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of St. John The Evangelist High School. She retired after 20 years as a nurse at Crouse Hospital. Mary Louise was communicant of Assumption Church, was a member of the Assumption choir and several additional choirs including the Liederkranz choral group. Her family and faith were her most important passions.
She was predeceased by her parents Alfred V. H. and Theresa M. U. Moosbrugger; first husband, Francis F. Reynolds; her second husband, George W. Reynolds, one sister and her five brothers.
Survivors: daughters, Theresa M. (Stephen) Sowers of California, Elizabeth A. Poirier of Syracuse; Jeanette M. (Nate) Davis of Syracuse; son, Francis A. Reynolds of Syracuse; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister in law, Rose Moosbrugger.
Services: 10 am Saturday at Assumption Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. A calling hour will be 9 to 10 am Saturday prior to the Mass at Assumption Church, 812 N Salina St, Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
