Obituary of Linda M. Delporte

Linda M. (DeCook) Delporte, 70, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday at Upstate with her family by her side. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Central Tech in 1966. Linda was employed over 40 years with American Music Group. She had previously devoted her time to the Sweet Adelines chorus and had been a board member with the Special Olympics.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Stanley A. and Wilhelmina (Goodson) DeCook, her sister, Judith (DeCook) Kilmartin.

Survivors: son, Andre (Jordan) Delporte; brother, Stanley G. (Marcia) DeCook; grandchildren, Andre M. Delporte, Harper L. Delporte, Brittany Marsh; nieces, Lori Reilly and Jeanette Kilmartin, nephews, Eric and Brian DeCook; four great nieces; 2 great grandchildren.

Services: Calling hours will be 4 to 7 pm Friday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St. Burial will be private.
