Obituary of Pauline M. Welch

Pauline M. (Fagan) Welch, 90, of Solvay passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday at her home. Born in Montreal, she grew up in Herkimer and Old Forge before moving to the Syracuse area. Pauline retired from Solvay Bank after 30 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Adelaide (Paul-Denis) Fagan; her husband, Bernard Welch; sons, Gary and Michael, grandson, Jeffrey Proietti; brother, Francis Fagan; and sister, Patricia Nasypany.

Survivors: son, Francis Welch; daughters, Kathleen Wicks and Maureen P. (Gary) Schiller; daughter in laws, Jane Welch and Rebecca Proietti; grandchildren, Craig Proietti, Kimberly Proietti, Maura (Adam) Arnold, and Kiera Rose Welch; great grandchildren, Alexis Proietti, Luca and Travis Proietti, and Evelyn Arnold; many nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:30 am Tuesday at St. Cecilia Church where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 pm Monday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St., Syracuse.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Angelman Syndrome Foundation, 75 Executive Drive, Suite 327, Aurora, IL 60504 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
