Obituary of Virginia F. Schmunk

Virginia F. Schmunk July 23, 2012 Virginia F. Bennett Schmunk, 74, of Central Square passed away Monday. Born in Baldwinsville, NY she was a graduate of Baker High School. She had worked for the N. Syracuse School District, Woolworth's, GE, and Rollway Bearing. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde L. Schmunk Sr. in 2002 and her son Clyde "Bud" Schmunk Jr. in 2005. Survivors: daughters, Emily (Albert) Knapp of North Carolina, Laurie Schmunk of Oswego, Jeanette (Stephen) Poticher of Parish; sons: Keith Schmunk and Louis (Mary) Schmunk of Central Square; sisters, Betty Walters and Ellen Bush; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Belle Isle Cemetery. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home 1921 W. Genesee St., Syracuse.
