Obituary of Helen "Ellen" Lukasiewicz
Helen "Ellen" Boycheck Lukasiewicz, 99, of Syracuse went to the Lord Saturday at Van Duyn. Born in Frackville, PA, she resided in the Syracuse area most of her life. She retired from Syracuse China after 37 years. Ellen was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, Westside Seniors and Sacred Heart Seniors. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Edward J. in 1990 and her brothers and sisters.
Survivors: nieces, Shirley Kraszewski and Elaine Maloney; and many other nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the 3rd floor staff at Van Duyn for their care.
Services: 9 am Tuesday at Tindall Funeral Home and 9:30 am at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
