April 19, 2010 Dr. Arthur J. Tindall, 90, of Syracuse passed away Monday in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Born in Solvay, he attended Syracuse University and was a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry, class of 1945. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII serving as a dental officer. Art entered private practice in 1947, and retired after 52 years. His memberships included the Knights of Columbus, the American Dental Association, Fifth District Dental Society, Onondaga County Dental Society, and was a founding member of the Syracuse Dental Seminars. Art enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, and friends on Downie Island in Canada. Arthur was predeceased by his wife, the former Alice M. O'Brien on March 1, 2010. He was also predeceased by his son, Mark Tindall, his sister, and his brothers. Survivors: his daughter, Maureen Edwards of Florida and grandchildren, Aisha and Janell Edwards; his daughter in law, Theresa Sheridan of Vancouver, Canada and grandchildren, Kelly Sheridan and Matthew Tindall; his sister, Emily Tindall Bergen; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. His "Works of Art" will be missed. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home 1921 W. Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S.
