Anthony D. "Tony" Crisafi

Anthony "Tony" Crisafi, 101, of Solvay passed away peacefully Tuesday at James Square Nursing Home after a short illness. He went to join the Lord and his beloved wife Josephine who passed away just last month in the room they shared in James Square. They had been married 72 wonderful years. Tony was a retired union carpenter and the oldest surviving member of the Central New York Carpenters Local. He was an avid fisherman who fished into his 90's. He was active past his 100th birthday celebration and drove until he was 97.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Evelyn) Crisafi of Liverpool; daughter, Mary Anne (Jerry) Wilcox of Syracuse; grandsons, Christian (Laura) Crisafi of Liverpool and Patrick (Mariel) Wilcox of NJ; sister, Mary Demore of Liverpool; brother, Frank Crisofi of N. Syracuse; and sister Sarah (Thomas) Garafalo of Mattydale.
Services: funeral and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt were private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
