Gerald J. Bruzdzinski April 9, 2012 Gerald J. "Jerry Brisk" Bruzdzinski, 77, of Westvale passed away Monday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from St. John the Evangelist School in 1952. He was a Police Officer with the Syracuse Police Dept. for 20 years before retiring. After retirement he worked security for the NYS Fairgrounds. Survivors: his wife of 57 years, Mary T. Coughlin Bruzdzinski; four daughters: Karen Zarach of Camillus, Terri (Ron) Micho of Geddes, Ann (Ed) Venturini of Camillus, and Marsie (David) Woodruff of Skaneateles; one son, Michael (Cathy) Bruzdzinski of Broomfield, CO; brother, Donald (Helen) Bruzdzinski of Solvay; sister in law, Joan Bruzdzinski; grandchildren, Joshua, Allison, and Nicole Zarach, Megan, Lauren, and Kristen Micho, Jeremy and Nathan Bruzdzinski, Kevin Venturini, Taylor, Catie, and Jonathan Woodruff; aunt, Ella Hujar of Westvale and several nieces and nephews. Services: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home and 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 6390 Fly Rd., 2nd Floor, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Jerry lived life his way-enjoying his family, many hobbies; always quick with a joke; always left us with a smile. We'll miss you. We love you.
