Obituary of Rita H. Wood

Rita H. Alberts Wood, 91, formerly of Fairmount passed away Friday at Loretto. Born in Solvay, she was a graduate of Solvay High School. Rita was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She had previously been a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church and was a member of the Brightoneers Craft Club. She was predeceased by her husband Clyde B. Wood in 1991. Rita was also predeceased by her sister Mary Miller and brothers Eugene and Edward Alberts. Survivors: nephews, Tom (Judy) Miller, Michael (Karen) Miller, Timothy (Anne Marie) Miller, Daniel (Terry) Miller; Michael (Donna) Alberts, Edward (Lisa) Alberts, Timothy (Stephanie) Alberts, niece, Mary Pat (Dan) Sprague; many great nieces and nephews and 4 godchildren. Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. A calling hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St, prior to the service.
