Josephine G. (Bordonaro) Crisafi April 5, 2012 Josephine G. Bordonaro Crisafi passed away peacefully Thursday at James Square Nursing Home after a short illness. Her loving family had kept a vigil at her bedside for the past week. Josephine was born in Syracuse and had lived in Solvay for the past 72 years. She dedicated her life to her husband and family. They were her "career". She loved to cook and was always trying to get you to eat something and wouldn't take no for an answer. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church most of her adult life and former member of the Altar and Rosary Society. For many years she did volunteer work helping those less fortunate than herself. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Anthony; son, Nicholas (Evelyn) Crisafi of Liverpool; daughter, Mary Anne (Jerry) Wilcox of Syracuse; grandsons, Christian (Laura) Crisafi of Liverpool and Patrick (Mariel) Wilcox of NJ; brothers, Angelo (Josephine) Bordonaro of Camillus and James Bordonaro of NJ; also many other loving in-laws and nieces and nephews. Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia's Church, Solvay. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088
