Regina L. Bowles March 24, 2012 Regina Lutzy Bowles, 91, of Camillus, passed away Saturday after a brief illness. She was a graduate of Solvay High School and Syracuse Secretarial School. Regina was employed by New York Telephone Company in 1937, and was one of the first women named to the position of Dial Service Supervisor in Upstate New York. She retired from the company as an Equipment Engineer after 40 years of service. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was her greatest joy. She was an avid Yankees fan, and was especially interested in feeding the hummingbirds that visited her garden. In addition, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, painting, bowling, shopping, and traveling to Zephyrhills, Florida, each winter. Regina will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Gary. Survivors: Her son, Gary (Cheryl) Bowles, Jr.; daughters Kathleen (Michael) Kicak, Diane Michalowski, and Marianne (Christopher) Andrianos; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services: will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Belle Isle Cemetery, Warners. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Genesee Athletic Club, PO Box 25, Camillus, NY 13031
