Obituary of Janet T. Mourin

Janet Tucker Mourin of Syracuse passed away suddenly at home on Thursday March 15, 2012. She was born in Auburn, NY September 22, 1931 and resided in Skaneateles until she left for college. Born to Lester and Ruth Tucker she graduated from Skaneateles Central School and St. Lawrence University. She worked for Kemper Insurance where she met her husband Robert whom she married in 1972. She then worked at MONY in the Personnel department. She was a member of Tuscarora Country Club where she was an avid 18 hole golfer. She also enjoyed playing pitch and bowling. She was predeceased by her husband of 29 years Robert (Fig) Mourin and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila of Syracuse and Janet's brother, Norman (Janet) of Florida and several cousins. Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave., Syracuse.
