Obituary of Pauline Reilly

Pauline Reilly, 87, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday, at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family. The daughter of Joseph and Anna Rudy, she was one of 15 children. She was born in Syracuse, New York and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and worked at Crucible Steel Co. and then at the Addis Company for many years. She was married on July 4, 1950 to Charles Reilly.
She was devout Catholic, a communicant of Holy Family Church, and a member of the Alter & Rosary Society. Along with being a devoted housewife and mother of seven children, she also volunteered for and supported many charitable organizations such as, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, World Vision, UNICEF, Meals on Wheels, etc.
Pauline enjoyed the outdoors, including gardening and golf, and loved vacationing with her family in the Adirondack Mountains, an annual tradition, she and her late husband started with the family over 50 years ago.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Reilly, Sr. in 1991 and her son, Charles Reilly, Jr. in 2005.
Pauline is survived by her sister, Lillian (Walter) Kogut of Minoa; her children, Patricia (Patrick) Arnold of Camillus; William Reilly of Marcellus; Michael (Pamela ) Reilly of Cicero; Paula Reilly (James Zoyhofski), Robert Reilly and James Reilly all of Syracuse, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 7th at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Fairmount, NY. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Dewitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7p.m. Monday, at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY.
Contributions may be made to any children based charitable organization.
