Lucy Micheletti, 86, of Syracuse, passed away on December 16, 2011. Lucy was employed in the payroll department at Niagara Mohawk for 35 years. Lucy was a communicant of St Brigid's Church. Lucy enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles, decorating, shopping, dining out and traveling with friends. Lucy was proud of her Cadillacs and could be identified by her LUCY M plates. Lucy enjoyed visiting with her family and was known by younger members of the family for pinching their cheeks. Lucy was a thoughtful and generous person. Lucy was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Gertrude Micheletti and her brother Thomas Micheletti. Survivors: Lucy is survived by her sister Susie (Carbone) Mansfield; brother Joseph T. Micheletti, Sr.; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and several cousins. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Olive Przepiora for all of her wonderful care through Lucy's illness. The family would also like to thank the C-unit staff at St. Camillus. Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Tuesday at St. Brigid-St. Joseph Church, 318 Herkimer St. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. Donations in Lucy's name may be made to the Solvay Fire Department, 1925 Milton Ave., Syracuse, N.Y., 13209, in appreciation for their assistance.
