Obituary of Nancy Mary O'Hara

Nancy M. O'Hea O'Hara October 26, 2011 Mrs. Nancy (Anne) M. O'Hea O'Hara, 86, passed into eternity on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. She was a former employee of the New York State Department of Social Services, the New York State Department of Health, the Nursing Administrator at the Tindall Nursing Home, and a nurse at Good Sheppard Hospital. She was a graduate of Most Holy Rosary High School, received a Bachelor's degree in the first graduating class of the Syracuse University College of Nursing, and received her Masters from Columbia University, New York City. Mrs. O'Hara was predeceased by her husband, John O'Hara in 1992, sister, Joan O'Hea in 2009, and Paul Tindall in 1987. She is survived by three nieces; Anne Tindall Trenga (Robert), Manlius, Kathryn Tindall Morgan, and Kristin Tindall Lisi (Nick) both of Onondaga Hill; close cousins Sally Reed and Marianna Masterpole, Syracuse, NY; many great nieces and nephews; and step-children, Jill O'Hara (Philip Jones), New York City, Jenny O'Hara (Nick Ullett), Woodbourne, California, and Jack O'Hara (Annie), Staten Island, NY. A special thanks to the staff at the Stonehedge Nursing Home in Chittenango who both cared for Nancy, and about Nancy, with many acts of kindness in the path to her final journey. Services: 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 31st in St. Joseph's Chapel at Most Holy Rosary Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There will be no calling hours. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave., Syracuse, NY 13207.
