Alice O'Brien Tindall March 1, 2010 Alice M. O'Brien Tindall, 90, of Syracuse passed away Monday at Van Duyn. Born in Syracuse of Caroline and John O'Brien of E. Syracuse, NY. She graduated from E. Syracuse High School and Central City Business School. Alice was a private secretary for General Electric before meeting the love of her life Dr. Arthur J. Tindall. They enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Downie Island in Canada for many years. Alice was predeceased by her parents, her son, Mark Tindall, and her sister, Helen Johnson. Survivors: her husband of 61 years, Dr. Arthur J.Tindall; her daughter, Maureen Edwards of Florida and grandchildren, Aisha and Janell Edwards; her daughter in law, Theresa Sheridan of Vancouver, Canada and grandchildren, Kelly Sheridan and Matthew Tindall; her sisters, Arlene Lawless, of N. Syracuse and Carolyn (Morris) Miller of Ft. Myers, FL; many loving nieces and nephews. Services: 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Alice may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S. Orchard Rd., Syracuse, NY 13219.
