Obituary of Owen H. Campbell

Owen H. Campbell July 11, 2011 Owen H. Campbell, 78, of Westvale passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was a graduate of Central High School, and LeMoyne College in 1955 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was a US Navy veteran. He was owner and principal of the Owen H. Campbell Agency and had earned recognition as a Chartered Life Insurance Underwriter. Owen loved music and played four instruments. Survivors: his wife, Beverley W. Campbell; daughter, Laura (Douglas) Hooper of Mt. Airy, MD; grandchildren, Matthew Chesky, and Evan Hooper both of Mt. Airy, MD; sister, Priscilla (Lee) Edwards of Camillus; several nieces and nephews. Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Robinson Memorial United Presbyterian Church, 126 Terry Rd. Burial will be in Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday at Tindall Funeral Home Inc., 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
