Obituary of Grace M. Erwin

Grace M. Erwin June 12, 2011 Grace M. Chrisfield Erwin, 88, of Syracuse passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 after a short illness. A native of Central New York, she was a graduate of Solvay High School. Grace was predeceased by in January 2004 by her husband of nearly 58 years Edward L. Erwin. She was a devoted wife and mother. Grace had many interests including knitting bowling, and was a regular at the Monday night bingo at the Villa's of Summerfield where she lived most recently. She was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Survivors: her 5 children, sons, Edward M., Daniel G., Timothy J., and Martin J. Erwin; her daughter, Mary Ellen Erwin Holgate all of Syracuse; in addition she is survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
