Mary Adelaide Cappuccilli Maione, 92, of Westvale passed away Monday peacefully after a short illness. Born in Oyster Bay, Long Island, she moved to Syracuse with her family at a young age. She was a longtime communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Adelaide was a devoted housewife and mother. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Gen. Michael Maione Sr. in 1983.
Survivors: her two sons, Michael Maione Jr. of New York City and Richard Maione of Westvale; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S. Orchard Rd. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt. There will be no calling hours.
