Sandra Lee Baker April 11, 2011 Sandra L. Baker, 73, of Camillus passed away on Monday after a short illness. Sandra was a native of Watertown and was the daughter of the late Alan and Josephine Lee. She was a graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy. She was married to Ross Baker in 1960 and they moved to Syracuse in 1963. She was a stay-at-home Mom for many years and served on several committees for the Split Rock Mothers Club. In 1978 she went to work for Syracuse University as executive assistant to the Athletic Director for 23 years. She retired in 2000. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Rosser O. Baker, Sr. in 2003. Survivors: a son, Rosser Jr. (Sandra) of Stafford, Virginia, three daughters, Stacey (Donald) Cibula of Camillus, Stephanie (Christopher) Drinkwater of Rochester and Melissa (Gregory) Short of Honeoye and the absolute loves of her life- her 10 grandchildren- Rosser, Lauren, Mitchell and Natalie Baker, Mattie and Max Barone, Owen, Lee and Tessa Drinkwater and Brian Short, one sister, Scarlett (Raymond) Kinley of Albany, a brother John (Heidi) of San Antonio and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Downs Syndrome Association of CNY, PO Box 5, Manlius, NY 13104 or Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3532 James St., Syracuse, NY 13206
