Obituary of Thomas Timothy Baron

Thomas "Tim" Baron February 17, 2010 Thomas "Tim" Baron, 88, of Syracuse passed away Wednesday. He was born and raised in the Auburn area. He was a member of the CCC's prior to his 21 year US Navy career. Tim served during WWII in the South Pacific, the Korean War, and in the Vietnam War. After his Navy career he worked for the US Postal Service for over 20 years. Tim was a member of the American Legion Post 911, the DAV, and the Fleet Reserve. He was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. Tim was predeceased by his wife, the former Betty Meagher in 1994, and his brothers, Michael and William. Survivors: his daughter, Melissa (Paul Brown) Baron; son, David (Lindsay Geremski) Baron; two sisters, Mary Carroll, Kathleen Baran; many nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow with full military honors in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W.
