Obituary of Michele Barbara Krupa

Michele Barbara Krupa of Syracuse, New York passed away on November 23, 2016 at Crouse Hospital after a short illness with her loving family by her side. Known to all as Mickey, she was the oldest child of Alphonse and Barbara Krupa. Born in Syracuse on March 3, 1945 Mickey graduated from Central Technical High School and Onondaga Community College. Mickey's persistence and sharp intellect coupled with her ability to relate to others interpersonally, guided her through an extensive, successful career with the Carrier Corporation. She frequently traveled abroad to Germany as a corporate project manager. After retirement, she especially enjoyed taking cruises and visiting casinos with her beloved sister Pam. Mickey was curious about the world and truly enjoyed the company of others. Each summer she lovingly spent time with family and friends at her vacation home on Oneida Lake. She had a tender heart for animals, particularly her dog Alex. Mickey was predeceased by her parents She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind. Survivors: her brother, Michael (Deborah) Krupa; sister, Pam (Vern) Lentz, longtime companion, Dorothy Durso; cousin, Stephanie (Mitch) Micale; nephews, Kevin (Chris) Lentz of Phoenix, AZ, Chris (Tina) Krupa of East Syracuse, Todd (Jody) Lentz of Camillus, Matt (Leslie) Krupa of Denver, CO, Michael (Megan) Krupa of Syracuse; eleven great nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many wonderful loving friends. Mickey's faith was influential and paramount to her being a longtime member of St. Augustine's Parish in Baldwinsville, NY. Services: 10 am Tuesday at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Monday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
