On Monday, March 14, 2016, Maxine (Kelly) Redmore, passed away peacefully at home. She was born on March 8, 1936 to William and Laura (Bigtree) Kelly in Syracuse. Maxine was a 1953 graduate of Vocational High School. On August 13, 1955, she married the love of her life, Walter Redmore. Maxine and her two sisters, Patricia and Clara spent almost all their weekends, holidays, and vacations together with their parents while raising their children. Then in 1971, Maxine re-entered the workforce beginning with SUNY ESF. Then in 1972, she began her career in the NYS Court System working in the Commissioner of Jurors Office, first for Victor DelGiorno and then Russell Mangicaro. Finally in October of 1998, she became the Commissioner of Jurors, a job she truly enjoyed until her retirement in June of 2002. Upon her retirement, she resumed her love for the game of golf and as a member of the Westvale Golf Club played as much as possible with her good friends, Louise Galvin and Mary Wilson. She met her current companion, Julian Vault in 2005 and together they enjoyed summers on Oneida Lake and winters in Lake Wales, FL. They were also members of Lakeshore Country Club. Maxine was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 1993 and her son, Darryl in 2011. Survivors: her daughter, Kelly (Ed Griffin) Redmore of Westvale; three grandchildren, Natalie, McKenna, and Connor Redmore of Baldwinsville; sisters, Patricia (John) Mongello of LaFayette and Clara (Bill) Russell of Adams, NY and their children. The family would also like to thank special caretakers, Janet Wells, Lisa Rathbun, Sherrie Hallinan, and Sharon Hale. As well as lifelong friends, Joan Tarson, Dick and Anne Scobell, and Ede Sakran. Last but not least her four legged friends, Toulah Finkle, Willie Wonka, and Georgie Jetson. Services: There will be no calling hours and graveside services will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery. Tindall Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088 or Humane Association Of CNY, 4915 1/2 W.
