Helen Graff was born and raised in Syracuse, a lifelong resident of the west side. Helen retired from General Electric after more than 36 years of service. She was a lifetime parishioner of St Brigid & St. Joseph Church. She was an avid bowler and played in a league for many years. Among her interests were pottery making, gardening and SU sports. She loved animals of all kinds. She was a devoted caregiver to her parents in their later years. Helen lovingly doted on her nieces and nephews throughout the years and was always a great source of support and strength for them. She was predeceased by her brother, Philip Graff and her parents, Margaret and Philip Graff. Beloved sister, aunt and daughter; Helen is survived by her sister, Marie Thibault; 6 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30am Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Brigid-St. Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Calling hours will be 5 to 7p.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204 or the Humane Association Of CNY, 4915 1/2 W.
